(will update regularly)
So you all know how I do, Mr. Been there/Done that. As I travel across this great country of ours I visited some truly great places and seen some fabulous sites. By the end of this year I will have visited all 50 of the continental United States. This blog will serve as a reference for some of the really great restaurants, clubs, cafes, and general entertainment destinations that I feel are must visits when on the road.
I'll also be putting in some of those all important necessities; barber shops, smoke shops, and places where you can go to make charitable donations to struggling college girls and single moms with exceptional physical abilities.
San Fran., CA-
This has to be one of my favorite cities on earth. The culture, the food, and generally great people. I've been 3 times or so and never have a complaint; with 1 exception: NEVER GO DOWN A SIDESTREET WHILE PULLING A TRAILER!!! Especially anywhere near chinatown.
Double Dutch -One of the coolest clubs I've been to in the city. PHENOMENAL DJ's, a killer liquor/ great tap selection, and innovative artwork are just part of this places greater whole. An eclectic mix of people all with one thing in mind, "lets get drunk and dance to some dope hip-hop!" The crew had a ball and everyone that could got lucky that night..I'll leave it at that. Highly recommended by locals and tourists alike. 3192 16th St. SF (415) 503-1670
Madrone - The draw to this place is the great artwork, it just so happens that they have great DJ's(Lo-fi, spanish, house, hip-hop). It's an art lounge with a full bar(some of the better drink specials in town), good food, special events regularly, and no cover during the week. They open @ 4pm daily and are open late, and have free wifi. Copped a really nice piece of art from one of the artists they were showcasing. 500 Divisadero @ Fell St. SF www.madronelounge.com
